Dual Water Heater Replacement Done Right

One leaking water heater is a problem. Two aging units side by side? That's a ticking clock. When one tank starts to go, it's usually not long before the other follows - especially when they were installed at the same time and have been running hard for years.

Here's what we were working with: a pair of older tanks that had reached the end of their run. One had already started leaking, and the whole setup was behind on code. The homeowner needed reliable hot water restored fast, and they needed it done correctly.

We pulled both old units and installed two new Bradford White 50-gallon natural gas water heaters. Each one got a fresh expansion tank up top, new braided connectors, and proper yellow gas line flex connections down below. Everything was brought up to current code - not just functional, but done the right way from top to bottom.

Bradford White builds their tanks here in the US, and they have a strong reputation for longevity and performance. For a home running two units like this, that reliability matters. You want equipment that holds up, not something you're calling about again in a few years.

When a water heater installation is done right, it looks clean and organized. Both units sitting level on drip pans, connections tight, venting routed properly - that's what a system built to last actually looks like.
