A small leak at the foundation might not seem like a big deal at first. But let it go long enough, and you're looking at saturated soil, structural concerns, and a water bill that keeps climbing. That's exactly what we were dealing with on this job.

The culprit was corroded galvanized pipe running through the foundation. Galvanized pipe has a lifespan, and when it goes, it doesn't go quietly. The corrosion builds up inside the pipe, flow slows down, and eventually you end up with a leak that soaks the ground around your foundation. We dug down to expose the problem section so we could get hands on it and do the repair right.

We pulled the old corroded pipe out and replaced it with new pipe - clean, solid, and built to last. We also added a shutoff valve right at the repair location. That might sound like a small detail, but it makes a real difference. If anything ever needs attention in that line again, you can shut it down quickly without hunting for the main - no unnecessary water loss, no scrambling.

This is the kind of repair that protects more than just your plumbing. When a leak sits near a foundation long enough, the damage can spread fast. Getting in there, fixing it properly, and giving the homeowner better control over their system - that's what good water line repair looks like.

Corroded galvanized pipe, foundation leaks, underground water line issues - we handle all of it here in San Antonio. If something seems off with your water pressure or you're noticing wet spots near your foundation, it's worth having someone take a look before it turns into a much bigger problem.
